2. Zero Server-Side Personal Data Collection
Our interactive EV calculators, charging sliders, vehicle selectors, and rate customizers operate entirely client-side using JavaScript in your local browser. We do not require account registration, login credentials, email addresses, or payment details to use any feature of this tool. None of the calculations or values you enter are transmitted to or stored on our servers.
3. Log Files
EVCostWise follows a standard procedure of using log files provided by our hosting and CDN provider (Cloudflare). The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
